At Pearl Academy, current tutors can be assigned mentors. These mentors are former Pearl Academy tutors and alumni who now attend prestigious colleges. Some of these colleges include UCLA, UC Berkeley, UCSD, UCI, and Johns Hopkins University.

Our alumni-tutor program is a way to reward current Pearl Academy tutors for their work in helping children. Mentors are people who current Pearl Academy tutors can ask about future classes, course load, GPA, extracurriculars, SATs, and college applications.

The foundation of Pearl Academy is to help our students exceed their academic excellence. This motto does not only apply to the students attending McKinley, as it applies to Pearl Academy tutors as well. We know how expensive private tutors are and how much of an advantage they can bring against underprivileged students. Therefore, we want to provide value to our tutors to help them reach their ultimate goal of higher education. We take our tutors' transition into higher education seriously. Through this pairing program, we would like to build an esteemed community to help achieve our tutors' future goals.
