Who Are We?
Pearl Academy is a student-run organization that focuses on providing elementary and middle school students with academic support and tutoring.
Why Pearl Academy?
At Pearl Academy, our mission is to provide high-quality homework help and academic enrichment to students at no cost. Our tutors consist of students attending Gabrielino High School and are among the top-ranked students in their class.
Tutoring Information
Tutor Selection
Our tutors are chosen through a process to ensure that students will have access to the highest quality of tutoring.
Tutor Criteria
Tutors will need to meet a minimum criteria of a 3.0 GPA or higher and other qualifications.
Student Reports
After each tutoring session, tutors will update a Student Report for each student that shows their progress and/or improvement.
Tutor Evaluation
Tutors will be monitored to ensure that the tutors who are not working/helping will be removed.
Program Location
Pearl Academy currently offers tutoring at McKinley Elementary from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM after school in Room 14.
